How to order your trusses:

Are you matching existing trusses?
1. What is the Span?
Span: Distance from outside of wall to outside of wall
2. What is the Heel Height?
Heel Height: Vertical dimension from top of wall to underside of roof sheating at the outside face of plate
3. What is the Ridge Height?
Ridge Height: Height from the top of wall to top of peak
4. What is the Ridge Location?
Ridge Location: Horizontal distance from outside of wall to peak
*Note* When matching existing trusses, dimensions should not include wall or roof sheathing. To ensure a good match all dimensions should be measured to the nearest 1/16th of an inch.
Not Matching Existing Trusses?
1. What is the Span?
Span: Distance from outside of wall to outside of wall
2. What is Roof Pitch?
Roof Pitch: Rise in inches for every twelve inches of run
3. Will You Need Energy Heels?
Energy Heels: Increase the height of the truss at the end to accommodate the insulation requirments.
As per local code, all structures that are heated and/or cooled require a minimum of R-38 insulation (Some jurisdictions may require more.)
